Crew Wanted: friendly crew wanted in Cannes( France )

my twin sister has a boat in Cannes and she is happy to get some friendly crew time to time for day sail.
They must be respectful, and no to arrive " bare foot" , and "empty handed ".
at least some lunch or coffee's treats to share.
she is experienced sailor , and can teach you if you have a bit of commum sens mind.
She goes to the little island off Cannes for the day.
She is semi retired and got some time .
she got her dog , so one must be a dog lover.
It is a lovely place to sail ,and a lovely yacht club
the boat is not fancy , 28 foots.

I wish I had received this a couple of years back, when I was living in Valbonne and I headed to Cannes (the Irish pub at the train station) all the time. Since I didn't have any contacts sailing I ended up going up the hill past Grasse to paraglide...
There is a pretty big English speaking expat sailing community in Antibes (centered around another pub, "La Gaffe") where I'm sure she could find friendly and willing sailors.

yes i know Antibes
most of crew there works on big boats,or are looking for work
this is totally different
it is ONLY social sailing

i used to paraglide too in Saint Andre.

Hi Catherine,

I saw your post and I would be very interested. Damien and I are arriving in Nice on the 5th September and plan to be in the area for a week. We have both sailed before but I am very much the amateur while Damien has a lot more experience.
