Delivery Captain Wanted

Consider registering with some of the delivery captain services. Services like the one that Gord mentioned earlier in this thread. If you have the right stuff, then I would imagine that they would add you to their list of qualified captains.

From a boat owners perspective, if I had a boat that I needed delivered I would probably go to one of these services first. I would imagine they only hire captains who are good and have a great deal of experience....that's if they want to stay in business. I would though be diligent about who they suggest, check his resume and his references myself and insist on meeting that person.

When possible, I think it is better to ship the yacht, or even go with it on board. No wear and tear... and hardly more in the end when you add EVERYTHING up. I think this makes the most sense if you start and destination are close enough to the shipping ports.
