Cruising So-Cal waters, Fall & Winter 2013

Join me on my Dreadnought32 for short or long term as I check out islands and harbors from Santa Barbara to San Diego anytime between Sept. 2013 to July 2014. Only need to supply your own food and maybe a bit of fuel. PM me.

Food share? Sure, BBQ of freshly caught fish everyday! (BBQ fresh Grouper, baked potatoes, cesar salad, mango sorbet and a partridge on a pear tree.) A great invitation for would be sailors to learn the ropes! Sail away!

Re: cruising So-Cal waters, fall&winter 2013

Hey Chris, it says you are unable to accept PM's. I am highly interested in sailing with you. I am a super hard working individual enjoying every ounce of life since recovering 100% from a spinal cord injury they said I would not walk ever again from. Since then I have done an embed with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Forces as a photojournalist, photographed the Chargers football season and the Padres so I'm either the luckiest person alive or the doctor was pretty much full of ****. Since I did break my back and neck and was paralyzed and now I'm doing everything life has to offer...I'm guessing I'm a lucky son of a bitch! I am trying to work my way up through sailing so that I may one day buy something of my own and sail it around the world...hopefully with that Dr. tied behind the boat by his ankle Just kidding ( a little) I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Chris,

I'm always keen to sail and have been as much as I can the past two years. Primarily daysailing out of Redondo, Newport, and Long Beach. I'm 33 fit and enjoy every minute sailing so hope I can lend you a hand sometime. My schedule is pretty open and if I'm not already on a boat I'm ready to go. Pretty solid electrically and mechanically if that can be of help.

Hope to hear from you,
Dan

Nothing ventured . . . Will complete ASA 104 Sept 8. No commitments thereafter. Late in the game (75) which means high motivation. Artist/photographer, writer. Fast learner, reliable. Would like 1-2 months for starters. Let me know? daviddelo18ATgmailDOTcom.

Re: Cruising So-Cal waters, Fall & Winter 2013

Hello,

I am currently based in New Zealand where my visa will expire in September 2013.

I have not spent a Holiday (December) with my family in 3 years and the goal is to be back in New England, USA for that time.

I am willing to take a plane to get to wherever a boat is, and hopefully get anywhere close to New England by December 2013 by taking as few flights as possible.

I have river and lake sailing experience. I have 'captained' boats (flying scot; rainbow) in these environments with crew that have never sailed before.

I am really interested in learning more. I am a geographer at heart and am up for adventure!

Get in touch if you have any questions!

Cheers,
JJ

Wife and I could be available from Dec 1 to Jan 15th in 2 to 3 week shots. Can tell the difference between spinaker and mailsail 2 out of 3 times. Good at getting to the leeward rail in time. We're fun, energetic, self starters and willing to get it done when it needs to get done.
