Hi Theo,
Its a "love" job so it may be too expensive for you both to fly to Melb and return to NZ. We pay for all food and possibly a return fare to Melb.

What sort of sailing have you done??

Hi Jenno,
I sailed from Europe to NZ in the 90's and have done the "Island Hop" to Fiji, New Cal and Tonga several times. Same applies for my friend ,minus the Europe/NZ trip. I now live aboard and have cruised most of NZ coastline.
Money is not a big issue, it's more about the experience. Having said that, we would certainly except any contribution towards travel expenses.
This is all my idea so would still have to run it past my friend, But I assume he's keen,knowing him.
BTW, I am 61 this month and my friend is mid 50's and we are both very fit.
