For Sale: Yanmar YSM-8G, Rebuilt 2006 - $2,000 obo

Hello all-

I have owned my Watkins 27 for about three years now and have enjoyed it thoroughly. But the other day I came to the realization that she will probably never leave the tame waters of Lake Lanier, just north of Atlanta.

That said, I'd like to sell the motor, buy an outboard, a bimini and a furler. Those would add more to our enjoyment of the boat than the pleasing rumble of that good ol' motor.

The boat's previous owner was a master diesel mechanic who completed a rebuild of the engine in 2006. I just had the starter rebuilt last week and replaced one of the old braided fuel lines.

She runs like a top and at $2k, she's a bargain considering she's practically new on the inside.
