What is the tube diameter, what ends and what size boat did this come from? From the Forespar site (http://www.forespar.com/products/lin...aluminum.shtml), this might be from a 35'-46' boat.

San Francisco Bay. Tube diameter is 3.5". Pictures attached. For sailboat up to 48'.

I don't think I'd want to go much over 40' with that diameter pole. I had the 12-22 3"x2 1/2" on my Pearson 35 and it pretzeled in moderate winds and seas poling out a 135 genny on the way to Hilo.
