Another Great Sewing machine has graced our presence to referbish and pass on to someone else.. Odd Thing, These Old Work Horse Sewing Machines are Finding Themselves to Our Doorstep Without Us Looking..
This one came to us by way of an older woman looking for a Smaller
Singer 221 Featherweight. We Took Her "66" in on Trade..
As you can see, This is a lightly used machine.. The numbers checked out to be a Model 66, built in 1952... The model 66 was bulit for a good number of years and origionaly used on a treddle machine in the early century. There are still a good number of these used and sought after for home use on heavy fabric..
They make a great canvas machine.... The one drawback to these machines is that they DO NOT sew Zig Zag, but for straight stitch, they are almost unbeatable..
The price were asking is fair market and is compairable to those on
E-Bay of the same condition..
As always, we post our machines on CF for fellow cruisers for a couple weeks before selling on e-bay....We are asking $200.00 for the machine plus the shipping.. recently I sent a Pfaff 130 to the east coast and the cost was $43.00..............
