San Juan 21

I am looking for a San Juan 21 sloop, preferably the Mark I model, ideally with a road-worthy trailer, any where in New England or nearby Northeastern/Mid-Atlantic states (e.g. from Maine to Maryland, out to western NY/PA). PM or e-mail: tim@thorpeallen.com

Re: San Juan 21

Ahhh the first real sailboat I ever had. Sailed that thing all over the Keys and back and forth to the Bahamas dozens of times back in the 70's until someone said I couldn't sail a boat like that across the stream. With ten gallons of gas, an old 5hp Seagull, 12" of draft with keel up, a 48 quart cooler with dry ice, a porta potty, and sleeping bag. No Radar, GPS, chart plotters, etc. except a cheap VHF wired to an old car battery, and a horn you had to blow yourself. No Coast Guard, DEA, Immigration, FWP, to deal with...EVER. Them were the days.
