S2 9.2 Center Cockpit 30' Sailboat

just getting ready to put my boat on the market.....bought a bigger one for long term cruising. 1979 but lots of recent upgrades. Solidly built! made by Tiara Yachts.

This boat is on the hard in a Chesapeake Marina....had the bottom painted.
All new cables in mast. Teak redone. Winches rebuilt.

Really big below for a 30' boat....some people like these for live a board because there is a big aft stateroom with queen bed and lots of storage.

Teak and holly sole....lots of nice teak below. Head with separate shower. Holding tank recently redone. two settees with drop leaf table. Large V berth with storage. Lots of other stuff recently done.

I am working on putting up a site with photos and a complete list of what we have done in the seven years we have owned her!

Price and pictures would help a lot.

Get the rest up fast. As of right now, the first impression of your "updated" boat is thirty year old cushions.

Re: S2 9.2 Center Cockpit 30' Sailboat

Those wouldn't be the original cushions. This are nice boats, I owned one for a summer. The aft bunk is a bit impractical and the holding tank is directly under it. I think modifying the aft cabin to put the bunk fore and aft would be a big improvement.

they sail pretty well also, but light on tankage and storage for serious cruising.

Well the holding tank is actually not under the bunk.....ours is under the locker directly across from the aft bunk. There are two lockers in the aft cabin.

I don't know if the cushions are original to the boat but they were there when we bought it seven years ago. They are still in very good shape.
