I hear you Scoobert. But unlike a lot of people you are most likely a good wrench. I have been through a lot this year getting my boat together. And this motor is a good one. The hard thing about a rebuilt engine is all the things that are 30 years old that you reinstall or try to find. All of the
parts for Perkins are being snapped up and by the time you get to the part of finding everything you are in in
shipping about as much as you are the
parts. I was in
Mexico running my new engine had 1 hour on it and all looked good the only thing that wasn't new was my
Jabsco 7200
water pump">raw
water pump. It exploded with me standing over it at about 1200 rpms. $512.00 at
Marine Store in
San Diego plus the trip up there. So when you start throwing 30 year old stuff back on your engine remember this. I was in a hard way for dough when I posted this ad. But now it is done and I am ready to go. So with all the folks that have looked at this post and considered
buying, Bring it. I am ready to go.
