Want To Buy: partner for sailboat

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE INTERESTED IN BUYING HALF INTEREST IN A SAILBOAT TO BE BASED OUT OF RIO DULCE GUATEMALA. I WOULD LIKE USE OF IT FROM NOVEMBER THROUGH MARCH. I THINK $40000 SHOULD BUY ONE SUITABLE FOR THIS REGION. I AM VERY EXPERIENCED AND HAVE A FAMILY. PERFER NO FINANCING WE EACH PUT UP HALF OF FUNDS ON THE BOAT WE BUY.

So I put up half the money and you get to use the boat during the best times of the year and I get to use it during hurricane season. Hmmm will have to think about that..... No thanks

We'll buy a ski condo together, I'll use it from December to April and you can have the rest of the year

You folks are coming at this all wrong. Say, a guy who wanted to spend his time performing maintenance would make the perfect partner. Why should this partnership be limited to those who wish to enjoy sailing?

Also the partner's share should be higher because in the summer the boat will be on the hard, so the cost of keeping her there in that time will be higher too
