wow--just bought a 700 for 300 dollars and for the tuner for free from another source..l. good luck with your sale.....the 700 i have doesnt seem to have access port for pactor modem....might be a selling or lack there of point for cruisers.....just sayin....

found it in mexico in mazatlan--was an old guys--he was downsizing spares, and had this one--works well....got the tuner free in la cruz from neighbors--it works well also...there was also a 710 for 350--but that was after i found the 700.....

Big different in technology, plus as far as I've learned 50w transmit and 150w. But I'm sure there are others here who know much more than I.
