Exhaust Fan Blades for a Nicro Solar Vent

I picked up a used 4 inch Nicro Solar vent. But the vent only came with the intake fan blades. When Nicro sells a vent they send two sets of fan blades, one for intake, and one for exhaust. I need the exhaust one.

Does anyone happent to have the exhaust fan blades laying around? Possibly you set your 4 inch vent up for intake and still have the exhaust fan blades laying in a drawer or cubby somewhere. If you do, I would like to buy it from you.

Thanks

If my memory still works (? :-) I think the fan blade in my 3-inch Nicro vent reverses depending if you want "blow" or Suck".

I also thought you could invert the blade to change direction. Any way since it is dc change wire connection to change direction should get same result.

Except that the shape of the blades are made for the direction of flow.

I know Nicro sends two fans with each unit, and there must be a reason, but I just had to try flipping the blades over, yep, each blade only works one way. When you mount a intake blade set upside down, it just really does nothing at all.

Thanks for all the replies though

If you change rotation of your prop it pushes or pulls water in the opposite direction, same for an air blade but I agree one direction may work better than the other.

Attn fastcat435 or anyone with 3" nico fan blade

I have the same problem as ocean31. I have a boat that has a 3 inch Nico vent and has the wrong blade in it. I need a 3" exhaust fan blade if you have one. I need it to blow hot air OUT of the top of the head, not "in" as they now have it.

Please let me know and how I can pay you for it.

Thanks much,

"PJ" sailinphelan
