Reed - I should have seen your message BEFORE I put a price on mine.

But, on the other hand, the case has just been collecting dust since 2009. I used it for navigating to Hawaii in the 1980 Singlehanded Transpac and I was right on. I also used it for demonstrations when I taught Celestial Navigation at a local community college and a few yacht clubs. But when GPS became affordable my classes became so small that it was no longer economical to try to teach celestial. In October 2005 my wife and I sailed off to Mexico (mainly Sea of Cortez and Puerto Vallarta) and carried it on the boat but never used it. We returned and swallowed the anchor in October 2009, though I didn't sell the boat until a little over a month ago. I guess it's time that I relinquish it to someone that will use it.

I should also make a list of all the spare parts we carried whilw cruising. I've no further use for them and could use a little green.

I bought yours and another on this site, figuring it would be a good thing to learn, and was going to show my girlfriend's daughters. Rethinking, I realized I would need 2 if they became interested. . Thanks again, wish you were closer for teaching me how to use it!
