For Sale: 58' Tall Mast / 34' Tall Mast

I have 2 masts from a cold molded John Alden 48 Ketch that had structural failure and was beyond repair. The mainmast is a Keel stepped wooden spar that is 58' tall with double spreader rig with running backstays. The mast looks very serviceable but for one area of rot that will require repair. The standing rigging and full complement of beautiful bronze turnbuckles look very serviceable. No boom, winches or running rigging are present. A heavy duty mainsail and club footed staysail and staysail boom in very good condition are available if desired.

The mizzen mast for this boat is a 34' tall aluminum spar with a single set of wooden spreaders. It is deck stepped and comes with most standing
rigging and bronze turnbuckles that look very serviceable. The mast is painted and in need of refinishing. The 12' long boom is anodized aluminum and complete. It is in very good condition. No winches, running rigging. An excellent and well made and lightly used Mainsail and jib are available if desired.
