I have two parts engines:
A 1969 newer style with delco electronics, new style cooling system, cast flywheel cover.
A 1965 engine ?(I think) Old style cooling system and the small distributor
Will sell complete or part out. Both engines are from a freshwater Lake ,
Lake Lanier GA.
Engines are in GA, zip31097 Yatesville

Re: 2 Atomic 4 Engines for Parts

The New Style engine 69 engine is $200. The older 65 engine is $200 .
If sold as a unit.
The 65 dist cap is missing and has rust in the dist. The alternator ear is broken off , but this engine does turn over.
The 69 is missing the head but other than that is complete. Send me your Email for more pictures, 65, pics on left 69 on right

Re: 2 Atomic 4 Engines for Parts

The manifold and carb appear to be in good condition, I'm sure I would rebuild the carb before using. Parts and shipping $200.00

OK, You want $200 plus shipping for those pieces but will sell whole engine minus head for $200? I'll give you $120 shipped. My manifold rusted from inside out so id be taking a chance, but for 100 I'd take that chance.
Let me know

Perhaps you may want to read may want to read my post on the price again. When I sell a used engine for parts that is quite a bit different than when I sell a component. If I sell an engine for parts I don't guarantee that it will run. I don't ship engines, you come, you look at it, then make your own decision. When I sell a part, like this manifold, I remove it I inspect it and then I pressure test it. If I thought it was crap, I wouldn't sell it. When it's paid for it's shipped. The buyer can't look at it till he receives it, so if they decide it's not what I represented they contact me,ship it back and I refund the money. I don't sell a lot of stuff on line but when I do, I have never had a disappointed buyer. Check all my post on this site and you'll see what I mean. As a note, my prices are low enough that I don't change my prices.
Good Luck in your search for a good manifold for $100, I'm sure you'll find one. Thank You. Carl Nussbickel

Thanks. I actually went to marina this afternoon and walked over to the yard. Asked around and someone gave me a complete A4 out of Tartan 30 that sat. Engine is locked up....but what would know..it has a what looks to be aftermarket...maybe Moyer marine manifold...not 100% sure. It has openings on both ends for exhaust outlet. It also appears to be quite s bit newer than rest of engine..... Free....thanks for the wishes... looked like they helped

Re: 2 Atomic 4 Engines for Parts

Great, I'm glad it worked out for you. So using your logic you were looking for a manifold but got a complete engine for free . So you have a replacement manifold and you're to the good $120.00. It would appear you could ship me the cylinder head and still not put your $100 at risk. I see it as a win win.

My logic is quite sound and honestly I would give you the cylinder head if you really needed it.
But using your logic...here's how I see it ...got piece I need free...willing to give rest of engine away for free....you want cylinder but because I pop the head off and "inspect it" its now a piece premium part requiring $1000, shipping included of course... so I will apply your logic as it works out to be a win-win for me
