Helia 44: Sliding window in cockpit not closing

I can no longer close (and lock) the sliding window that connects to the door on our Helia. The lower part of the window is stopping about 1cm from where it normally would, therefor not meeting with the door.

I found one broken plastic part wedged up in the rear top rail which must be part of the problem, but cant work out where it would go.

Any ideas??

Not sure if that plastic piece I found is actually part of the problem as I found another identical piece further along where the top part of the window frame attached to the boat. It seems to just be a spacer and may be on all Helias. Note the thumbnail pic is showing as 90 degrees off correct angle for some reason. Back to the drawing board...
