We have a new Lipari Evolution arriving next week. The Evolution now comes with a Teak outside Saloon table. My wife wants to somehow protect the Teak. She is not a fan of the weathered grey they go over time, and is concerned about the stains you get from suntan cream or butter spilt on the table. There is no way I will varnish a lovely teak table, and I don't want something I have to keep applying every week.

Is there some sort of oil or similar that should be used to protect the teak and keep it looking nice and new?

The only way to keep your teak table looking new and be maintenance free is to coat it with table top epoxy.

I have seen a one year old un-treated teak table full of wine and milk stains. It looks just awful.

I like to sail more than I like to fix and sand things, so I always take the maintenance free route.

If you use epoxy make sure it is uv stable or it will turn yellow.

Is there any way to redo the galley floor boards in Lipari 41. Mine are so worn and ugly. Just wondering if there is any type of paint that will stick to it. I know I could have them replaced but the last quote for replacement was close to USD 2k. Just looking for cheaper solution. Thanks

You Lapari 41 floors are made from glued down (contact cement) sheets of Formica.

You can buy 4' x 8' foot sheets and contact cement them over your current floor.
