OpenCPN crashes with Nmeaconverter

For some time now, I have had a problem with the Nmeaconverter plugin which crashes OpenCPN.

In summary, to try to find the origin of the error, here is what I did:

- Normal opening of OCN
- Installing NmeaConverter : OpenCPN freezes and after several clicks, error message 'opencpn.exe is not responding'.
- Closure of Opencpn
- Restarted OCN in safe mode and uninstalled NmeaConverter.
- Cleaning tarball and metadata files.
- Deleting the opencpn.log file

- Relaunch OCN. No problem. Everything works, zoom in and out, etc.
- Installing NmeaConverter.
Immediately, OpenCPN freezes and after several clicks, error message 'opencpn.exe is not responding'.

N.B. this problem does not occur on another PC.
Only on my Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 tablet PC, Windows 10 Version 22H2
