Opencpn 4.4.0 - Weather Routing "Grib Plugin Not Supported"

Hello Everybody,

Since the last update to 4.4.0, I've always the same problem with the Weather Routing plugin.
If I try to route with the source "climatology" only, everything is ok, but if I try with data from a GRIB file (I try from different source), I receive this message "Grib Plugin not supported" and... crash!

I use the Grib plugin 4.1 without issues, the problem is just with Weather Routing

No problem with the previous release. I try with the last beta, same problem.

Read the weather_routing thread. Opencpn Beta File Thingie has a BETA version that works but requires reading and some movement of files.

I just see Windows version there. Have read a lot of the 63 pages and was not able to find anything for linux that could help me. Will retry after my holydays maybe I will be able to understand more with more time

Ah bompa. That's correct its Windows. Can you build plugins for linux? The repository is Sean Depagnier's. See the wxroute thread or search github.

I am on holyday and sailing and the onboard computer is linux and I don't want to break the toy. On top of it I have nearly no internet. Will be for next holyday maybe.

Build from source?

It would be good to release a new version of weather routing, but I just made some other big changes to it and it's not perfectly tested.
