Ocpn_Draw 1.6 question

I have the latest OpenCpn version 5.8.0 and I am having problems re-installing the Ocpn_Draw 1.6. It worked fine with the previous OpenCpn 5.6.2. I downloaded the Windows set up package from here: https://opencpn.org/OpenCPN/plugins/draw.html and it installs on the OpenCpn directory under plugins but when I attempt to import it from OpenCpn >>plugins menu, the folder appears to be empty. Could someone give me a hint if I am doing something wrong or I am missing something?

You can test the "unstable" version 1.8.24.1, accessible on the beta catalog of plugins. From what I've seen, it works fine (under windows 10. Other system ???).

Use settings
Choice beta catalogue
Update this catalogue
Choice draw
Install it
Validate

Normally, the draw version 1.18.24 ils ready to use.
