paulme33...
Are you also feeding OpenCPN with your own ship info. Are the artificial targets actually on collision courses with you? Sorry, that's all my personal crystal ball says.

Re: No AIS alarm in Opencpn when using NemaStudio to make NMEA

hi,
its great in this site you get all the answers from people doing the same stuff while sailing.

well I think I have sorted now, I needed to make a second AIS & click on "VDO".

The alarm goes off correctly now thanks. seapro don't work correctly as it just beeps once or goes off all the time until canceled. Opencpn goes off for a time limit or goes off until you out of danger, just as I want it to.

That will save me £818

I have jet to get an snswer from Maxsea about theirAIS alarm settings.
