AIS targets but no position?

Just installed the Digitalyacht USB-serial cable. The problem is that I do not get
my position. Only AIS targets??

Same problem on a windows and a Mac computer.

(Same cable works great with Maxsea on the same computer. On Maxsea I get position and AIS targets. I guess that excludes driver problems).

I guess I´m doing something wrong.

1. Choose the serial port under AIS section
2. Choose AIS port shared under the GPS section.
3. Check the baud rate under the GPS section and in the device manager
38400
As soon as I choose AIS port shared i end up at the equator west of Africa.

I need help !
