Re-Varnish or use teak oil in the shower area?

The teak in the shower and bathroom are of my Tartan 3700 is getting grayed. I really dont want to sand and re varnish all the teak inside this area. Whats y'alls opinion on using teak oil on these areas?

Re: Re-Varnish or use teak oil in the shower area?

For our shower teak trim we use pure tung oil. After allowing the tung oil to polymerize, coated w/carnauba wax. Seems to be holding up well after several years.

We discuss what we found out about most commercial tung oil products here and purchased our real tung oil and clear carnauba wax paste from this source.

You’ll need to sand either way if you want it to look fresh.

Otherwise it will be darker gray.

West Systems epoxy, top coated with Epifanes is my go to for this kind of stuff.
