Which autohelm?
Just purchased a 1984 36' Catalina sailboat. I want to replace the auto 3000 that came with it.

Only at the beginning of the education curve on this!

Any insight would be much appreciated

I have never used them, but the Raymarine site has good description's of types, size and options of there systems. you figure weight and size of boat, type of steering etc.
