WH Autopilot

Does anyone have any info on WH autopilot?

I have one of their units that was installed by a previous owner in 2016, and it's correcting course in one direction only. The compass, hydraulic pump and all electrical connections appear to be fine, so it appears to be an issue with the control unit.

I've tried to call WH Autopilots numerous times, and I get only a busy signal. I don't have any documentation on this unit, nor can I find any source for info online. Does anyone know what's happening with Will Hamm? Is there documentation for these units available anywhere?

Thanks for any info you can share.

Bill "btrayfors" has one. Maybe he can help. Try a private message to him.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Bob.

FWIW:
“AP4 drives rudder in one direction only
Possible fault
Rudder limit switch not set correctly
• Partial drive circuit failure (FET)”
