Raymarine Chart plotter broken pin

My sailboat has two E80 classic chart plotters connected via sea talk. A few months back the radar stopped working - i noticed on the back that one of the radar pins on the chart plotter was broke. using my smart mind i figured i could just swap the plotters, which i did. the other plotter only worked for a few days (the pins are fine i think something is wrong inside).

I have had an electrician look at the radar and we have confirmed that the radar is working (i verified this myself). So i would guess something more complex is going on inside chartplotter 2

I'm wondering if anyone has ever opened the back of a raymarine plotter and tired to fix things themselfs? Raymaine, as always is not making replacement parts for these so i need to get creative. Do you think its possible to swap the back panel (where all the plugs are) from one device to another? I talked with a local electrician today who said he has done this in the past.

Any experience or thoughts would be great
