Radar Raytheon SL70 Error: Scanner not respondig.

I did clean conectors but it did not help. So what signal- which wire I have to check and for what voltage?

Or there is something other what I have to do?

There are two pairs of data wires that the radar IF board loops back for the MFD to check continuity. If there is a problem with either the IF board or the cable then you get the error you describe.

I've had the samer issue with my RL70....solution, after removing the scanner for a tech check, was to change out the cable from the scanner to the unit. The unit now works well.

I had the same problem a while back and it turned out to be the cable connector to the scanner. Here's a post I did on the repair,

I have wiring to split in two location. And in that point i did check voltage on wires:
White:1,5V
Orange: 1,5
Green: 1.9
Blue: 1.8
Viola:3,5
Gray:3,5
XY:1.6
White:0,4

But it looks that i will have to eliminate all conectors and go directly.

boatbod ... I stumbled across pr2501's thread and your post re: the SL70 Pathfinder radar service manual ... any chance I could also get a copy?
My new-to-me Uniflite 42' DCS has this radar. The MFD seems to operate OK (can be switched from Standby mode to Transmit mode by a brief touch of the Power button), however, no imagery is displayed, no error messages appear, and, I can't hear the scanner rotating ... my first thought was to confirm that the main radar cable carries all wires required ... as I have black and green AWG 16 wires that are routed through my tubular SS radar arch as far as the scanner but have been left unconnected and tied off in a knot ... so that they don't disappear back through the hole they're sticking out of ...
