Pactor modem went packing

I have a Pactor USB modem that isn't working now. The green power LED lights, but none of the other LEDs light. The unit enumerates and comes up as a valid COM port on Windows. Attempting to connect to the COM port fails to initialize the modem under Airmail. I tred swapping USB cables and have tried 2 computers that both previously worked with this setup. Any suggestions?

If the blinking red LEDs do not come on I would guess the modem is not completing its POC and is broken. Maybe one of the SSB installers (Dockside Radio, Bill Trayvors, etc.) can test it and maybe repair it.
On the chance it is actually working try checking the Ignore CTS option in Airmail. There can sometimes be a timing problem between Airmail and the modem. This fixed a problem for me. Link to a screen capture of the option under Airmail below.

Thanks. I don't see how Ignore CTS applies to the USB modems, should only apply to serial connect ones. I tried setting it with no joy.

I'm in the Bahamas getting ready to leave for the Chesapeake today, so no way to test the Pactor here.
