We were looking at this as a small inexpensive backup gps/fishfinder/chartplotter. We can't seem to find any info on the world wide charts is is loaded with and it looks like charts cannot be loaded into the unit. It does however have nema out so we could input our laptop. Anyone know what the "out of the US" charts are like on this unit?

I had one on my Cal 29. Great little unit for a basic unit. But I would not hold my breath on the charts. If I remember correctly, the preloaded charts that were in ours were pretty basic and crude. Nothing I would have tried to navigate with.
