Email Using Mac and KVH Tracphone 25

Has anyone managed to hook up a Macintosh (OSX) to a KVH Tracphone in order to send messages (albeit slowly) via satellite? I know that this is common in the Windows world but can't find any Mac specific resource. Thanks.

I use my mac in combination with a satphone, through VM ware, which turns a partition of my mac into a windows machine. Works great and cannot effect any appl. on the mac. Check vmware.com.

Mmm.. anybody any refrences about this GMN Compressed email? Seems a little expensive.
I know VM ware works well on my mac, any comments here?

Having just bought a boat with a tracphone 25, and owning a mac - did you get this working? What are your experiences?

Never did get it working although I'm sure I could using Windows emulation software. Although I have Parallels, I really don't want to go that route.
