Talking about FUD... I suppose you don't have much experience with commercial solutions? In most cases it just works (TM).

"anyone who tried to install open solutions as opposed to commercial ones learn way more." is not necessarily correct. I'd claim, that often one follows recipes without fully understanding what is going on. A deeper understanding needs a LOT of time; you are an expert (I think), don't underestimate how difficult it is for a novice/half-expert.

Re:BBN

Hello again mgrouch!I downloaded BBN, I am having trouble setting up WiFi, changing passwords, setting up country etc. I tried going thru the advanced manager page and it is asking for a password after I enter the code to change it. What am I missing? Total newby here. Can I use one of the icons on the main page or do I need to go to utilities? Thank you!!

Re: Avnav setup

Hello mgrouch! I had to reformat the sd card I’m using to erase it, would this cause an issue with the setup of the WiFi, setting time and country? Thank you

It would not. Here is how to prepare SD card

https://bareboat-necessities.github....repare_sd_card

During first boot it will expand SD card partition
to the size of SD card automatically.

The steps to change the password are in Getting Started Guide:

Here is the link

https://bareboat-necessities.github....hange_password

You have same document as pdf installed on your system as well.

Has to be 2 separate lines for commands.
You put them as single line
