Second Annual All-Islander Rendezvous

Islander owners known as FOGgers (Freeport Owners Group) will be holding a rendezvous at Cat Harbor, Catalina, after Labor Day on September 8-11, 2011. This will be the Second Annual All Islander Rendezvous, and an invitation to all Islander owners to attend is extended.

Friday the 8th Islander owners will start arriving for the rendezvous, and they will need to contact Harbor Patrol on VHF channel 9 for mooring or anchoring assignment.

On Friday the 9th we will have a get acquainted barbeque, at the bandstand area just a short walk up from the dinghy dock. Bring you own meat, and a side dish that can be shared.

Saturday the 10th is a free day for visiting the boats of Islander owners if you wish, and Saturday at 5:00PM you are invited to meet for dinner at the Harbor Reef restaurant (Dutch Treat), followed by a free raffle for door prizes.

Sunday the 11th is a free day, and the last day of the rendezvous.

All Islander owners that would like to attend the rendezvous are urged to contact DonGrass at dgrass1@cox.net. Please include the number of people in your party, and the name and size of your sailboat. This year there will be a charge of $10.00 per person (kids are free), used solely for covering the cost of the Cat Harbor bandstand picnic area.
