Family traveled Northwest Passage

It was 2009 but just saw this just posted on the Weather Channel website.

I didn't see anything about it here so I thought I would share it.

I think it does lead to wondering if it would someday have more regular traffic as time goes on with all the ice melting.

Thanks for the link. In 2011 was first time both NW and NE passages were open at the same time (same summer). 2012 that happened again with much longer period and larger ice free area especially along the NE passage.
