We’ve just purchased a powerboat in the UK. It’s being shipped out to a Greek island. We will be paying the VAT in the EU so we are not subject to Temporary Admission. The boat will be private use only whilst on holiday. Can we register the boat in Greece or does it have to be the UK? What are the pros & cons? Can’t seem to get any answers 😕

what powerboat, do boat have CE certificate and all document from builder.
my suggest register in GB, gain some document. go in greec and ask custom and port authority is this boat possible import and register in greece. this proces easy can last from 90 days to year and more.

ask your dealer all certificate and document for register in EU.
for register in mostly EU need have address in Eu country.
but how is clever import in GB from EU factory then export from GB import again in EU.
