Best for Gelcoat

I am in the process of having the topside and decks of my IP45 buffed and polished. The gentleman doing the work has suggested using Awlcare Protective Polymer Sealer instead of a conventional gelcoat wax for the final protective layer and shine. I have researched online without conclusion if Awlcare is suitable for gelcoat as the product is obviously made for Awlgrip paint. In my web search I was disappointed to find only dated reviews regarding the newest and best protective coatings for gelcoat. I am sure this question has been asked many times but I would like recommendations from the readers of Cruisers Forum as to works best for them. Would the group recommend wax or the newer polymer sealers and if so is Awlcare a good product to protect gelcoat. Thanks!

It works great. I use it on awlgrip, gel coat and my car. Lasts way longer than traditional carnuba based waxes. Not quite the high level of gloss, but much more durable and waaaayyyy easier to apply. You can also put a coat of carnuba wax over the awlcare a day or two later if you want that little bit extra gloss. Good luck
