1966 O'day Javelin hull delaminating???

Hi,
I bought an old sailboat last year and had a great summer sailing it. When i hauled and was power washing, bits of gel coat were coming off and i noticed blisters, and pock marks on the hull. I was planning on using epifanes 2 part to re-coat ( a fellow boater who is also doing his boat and knows way more than i offered to help (practice for his boat i assume) but am worried the hull needs more than new gel coat. Any input greatly appreciated.

That actually already looks like paint over gel-coat. Either way, unless the hull is soft, it’s just paint blisters (based on the photo) and is no need for alarm.

Well that's great news -hull seems solid, and new sails are on the way so hopefully when wet sanding and new gel coat finished, i'll have a few more years of fun !
