Also, if I put it in
charter would I just use my normal accountant to assist me or should I use someone who specialises in charters? My
current accountant is pretty knowledgable and has a very good reputation for personal, business, property etc tax stuff, however is not an expert regarding charters. I understand it is important to set it up correctly in order to keep the ATO happy.
Do I need a solicitor also to review contracts? I would likely not be going with an international company so I wonder how flexible the contracts are regarding
fees, etc. Who will look after my interests during the
purchase as I am time poor and new to all this.
I'm not too concerned with the "projected" returns, just interested in if the
fees with the
charter company are normal. I have a pretty good understanding of the prices I think.
Plenty of questions as I don't have much knowledge in this area.
