Thanks for the tip.
It's a trailer-sailer, so it will go on it's
trailer into a container. Should just about fit as the beam is just under 8 foot including rub rails - almost exactly the 7.9 inches of a 40 fott container's
interior.
My idea is to rent an suv, and back the trailer and boat into the container then strap her down myself and say good by, unloading her up at the other end.
See any problems with the plan? Will HK harbor guys allow me on the
dock to do that or will I have to go through some kind of "agent" - ugh. That would cost me a nice chunk of what the boat costs, I fear.
