Nuts and bolts

Just a plug here for boltdepot. I did a small online order late Friday for some A4 hardware. I selected cheapest 3-5 day shipping. I received the goods in my mailbox Monday. I suppose its also a plug for USPS.

Re: Nuts and bolts

Yep. Been buying from them for years. Found them after I couldn't find some fasteners locally. Looking through thier online catalog was educational, a lot of stuff I didn't know existed.

Re: Nuts and bolts

I Used to go to Fastenal but once you get used to carefully specifying your hardware as opposed to just bringing something with you for trial and error, Bolt Depot is absolutely the best.

If you screw up (no pun intended) they will even refund or exchange things for you.

A great place to buy 316 hardware. Every piece of hardware on my boat is 316 from there.

Re: Nuts and bolts

They've got a lot of stuff in silicon bronze too. That's better than 316 in some applications

Re: Nuts and bolts

This is a shameless plug, but if you are in south Florida, Broward Bolt on Powerline Road is the go to source. They even had 316 SS BSW (British Standard Whitworth) threaded bolts & nuts. (I apparently have a unique stuffing box.)
