need us marine insurance
I need a US coastal waters marine insurance since my Caribbean only covers to the Bahamas. Now that I come home to the Chesapeake I need coverage there.

try mariners group. they are international and good in usa mexico and other places. mebbe ye wont need multiple coverages anymore~~~???

Try either IMIS or Bill Hodges at Yachtinsure. We have used both and both are excellent.

I found Seaworthy good re: cost, coverage; and geography. Do not have experience with how claims are handled. Be careful your policy includes coverage of other items that may be damaged in an incident and don't just cover replacement of the thru-hull that popped out. There is a term for it but don't recall what it is. I found BoatUS more expensive.

I would definetly contact Scott Stusek at Pantaenius Yacht Ins. He is located in Annapolis. Call him at 443-569-995. I changed to them 3 years ago. In my humble opinion they have the best rates and coverage areas going. Scott is agreat guy to work with.

I'd also suggest Al at IMIS. You won't get the same surprises that a lot of "direct" large companies give you.
