Insurance Caribbean/Bahamas

So Geico/ BoatUS will not extend for the Caribbean and Bahamas areas called today for extension although there are no named storms and it’s towards end of hurricane season. I wonder if they will open it up or are going to limit coverages to just US? If they keep it closed, it does not bode well for the Bahamas especially with the increase in cruising fees.

In the process of buying a boat, and some insurance companies aren’t extending coverage there currently. I did find one that did, but the best quote wouldn’t consider those areas.
