Hi David
I am also interested in a Bahia ( obviously ) Have you found any differences in the years ?? I have heard there have been some problems with blistering where cockpit drains were installed and water getting into core . Helm seat is a double (after 2004 ? ) which I prefer . Am looking at one in Martinique that is cheaper than the Sparkling one although a bit older . Bahia's in the BVI have a lot less hours for equivalent years and hence prices are higher . Charter market has really slowed down with present economy and hence there could be some good deals after the summer or part way through !!

I haven't seen any with a double helm seat. Either I'm missing it with the pictures or the one you saw was modified. After 2004 they started putting the hard top bimini on, which is a nice feature. The broker I'm working with, who really knows his stuff with cats, said I didn't need to worry about the hull so I'm trusting him on that one.

I have a Bahia chartered next week in Sint. Maarten and am looking forward to putting her through the paces. I'll let you know my thoughts when I return.
David.
