ABYC Courses

ABYC offering 30 courses in 2005

The American Boat & Yacht Council has released its 2005 schedule of certification and seminar courses, which are being offered internationally as well as in the United States.

“ABYC will be offering over 30 education programs across the country. We have recently developed three new courses,” said Bonnie Barsa, ABYC education director, in a statement. “Those interested in becoming ABYC certified technicians can take the certification test online; in the next few months, we will be rolling out our first online courses.”

In addition to scheduled training, ABYC says courses and seminars can be hosted at any location, provided the host site ensures a minimum of 15 students both register and attend.

Registration information can be found by visiting ABYC’s Web site or by contacting the ABYC Education Department at (410) 956-1050.
