While in the Miami area the prop on the mighty dingy gave up and began to slip. We determined that basically we needed a new prop. Did not seem like a big deal, this is Miami!! Well after calling every prop shop that I could find, no one had a prop for our outdated (2000) Tohatsu/ Nissan engine. Finally the folks at Florida Yacht charters recommended “Anchor Miami Prop”. I was put in touch with Blair, and he did in fact have the prop on hand. The next problem was that we were in Coconut Grove, and they were in North Miami. About a $45.00 taxi ride and about an hour. I explained the situation to Blair. He said not a big deal he could bring it down on his way home. The next day he called and said due to the fact we wanted to leave for the Bahamas in the morning he would bring it to us on his lunch break.
We absolutely lucked out to find them, and would highly recommend them for any prop work or help finding any props. Good people who care and are willing to go out of their way to help you out!!!!!!!!
