UPG batteries

thinking of getting upg agm batteries.
Has anyone have any experience with these?

Don't know upg but I got rid of my agm's as they don't do well cruising. When cruising I end up using the band between 50% discharged and 85% charged (the last 15% takes much too long to top up). AGM's don't do well with this regime, they like a full charge. I'm back to old fashioned flooded batteries now.

I agree, AGM's work good for land based solar systems, but flooded batteries hold more AMP hours pound per pound for a cruiser.
