Selden 300e Mk11 Problems

In 2020 I fitted a Selden 300e electric genoa furler. This weekend it failed to furl in in 25 knots wind (with one reef in) and just as I needed to move from a run to a beam reach. It would furl out only. I eventually used the safety manual furler which would not work under any strain and it took me about 1 hour to get the sail in.

Later in the harbour the furler worked. I understand there is an overload setting which stops the furler under load and I can only assume this did not function correctly as it is only supposed to kick in for a few seconds. Also, 25 knots doesn't seem like overloading the motor and the sail was not under pressure as I had eased it out. The 300e is a sealed unit so water should not be the problem here also.
