Farallone Yacht Sales - Alameda, CA + Surveyour?

Hi I live in Australia and am interested ina yacht from these guys. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences with them.

Also could anyone recomend a good surveyour in the area?

Peter Minkiwitz is terrific, So is a guy named Randy Sharp in Alameda. Peter was the manager of one of the best boatyards in the SF Bay Area for many, many years and is good. Randy did a survey for my boat and, though I had owned it for many years, noted some things I had never noticed or thought of. Lots of poor surveyors in the Bay Area.
