Adler Barber Cold Machine

I have two Adler Barber model BD50F 12 cold machines aboard. One is in refergeration service and one in Freezer service. Both have preformed exteamely well for 5 years of near continuous service.

The Refrigeration unit failed recently. The return capillary appears to be pluged. The discharge pressure approaches 200 psi while the suction pressure is zero after a full vaccum pull down and recharge with 400g of 134a.

Does any one know how to clear a capillary tube?

Both units utilize an L shaped aluminum evaporator. Does anyone know wher I can purchas a "power Plate" evaporator?
