Taking a pet to Bahamas

We just arrived back in the US after 25 days in Bahamas w two cats. We had sent the money $ they never sent us back the permit for the cats. We had a vet intl health cert from the week prior to our arrival into the Bahamas and showed paperwork etc and explained The situation. The person where we cleared in wrote on our cruising permit cats must stay on board. And if we get to Nassau go pay the dept of agriculture.
Last year when this post was started they didnt even look at the pet paperwork . best bet is to pay in advance via certified check and pay the extra $5. So theyll fax it to you.
